ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Supporting breakthrough ideas for a fairer, healthier and more sustainable future.
Pace is looking for brilliant minds to help build alongside ARIA’s third cohort of Programme Directors.
This is an opportunity to be at the heart of ambitious R&D programmes - turning bold scientific ideas into well-designed, high-velocity delivery. As a Programme Specialist, you will be a trusted partner to a Programme Director: shaping work packages, bringing clarity to complex challenges, and helping teams across startups, research labs and academia make meaningful progress.
Pace has worked hand-in-hand with ARIA for the past three years, building the culture, processes and ways of working that enable its people, programmes and portfolio to thrive.

What you'll do

Lead delivery
Take programmes from discovery and thesis development through solicitation, contracting, active management and close-out.
Manage performance
Track milestones, assess progress, spot risks early and drive course correction where needed.
Maintain control
Oversee RAID management, financial performance, budget tracking and invoice approvals.
Partner with Programme Directors
Shape delivery strategies, define work packages, set up governance and turn vision into executable plans.
Offer constructive challenge
Help teams work through trade-offs, remove obstacles and stay focused on high-impact outcomes.
Bridge ARIA teams
Connect programme teams with Procurement, Legal, PMO, Communications, Finance and Events.
Build Creator relationships
Engage Creators through regular contact, site visits, workshops and clear stakeholder updates.
Drive operational excellence
Keep programme data, reporting and management tools accurate, useful and always improving.
