What happens when process is considered in isolation and any individual autonomy, flair and creativity is removed from consideration?
Dance is the purest form of process (a set of steps and moves) to harness human autonomy and expression, so we gathered a group of our most trusted customers and pitched them against a professional dance squad in a dance-off.
To celebrate the launch of our commitment to ‘Harnessing Human Autonomy’, we demonstrated what happens when you remove human flair, creativity, and dynamism from process design.
A team of willing volunteers took on a professional dance troop in following a simple process designed by choreographer Christina Andrea. The medium and output was physical movement – or, as most know it – dance.
If process is everything and anyone can follow a process, the two dances should have looked identical, right?…Wrong!
