careersPace is proud to be a Gold Award holder of the Armed Forces Covenant – actively supporting the military community, promoting the benefits of employing veterans and encouraging other organisations to treat those who currently serve, have served, and their families, with fairness and respect.
Pace was one of 24 organisations receiving the award on Thursday, 31st October as part of the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Gold Awards 2024, joining an exclusive club of just over 1000 Gold ERS Award holders nationally.
We recognise the huge talent and skills that the Armed Forces community bring to the workforce, and that these skills are developed by the world-class training offered through a military role.
Pace has a strong connection with the military, through our people and our values. We have a number of veterans and veteran family members in our organisation. We regularly interview and hire ex-military personnel, in line with our policy to always guarantee an interview to an Armed Forces member or veteran.
The skills, experience and expertise of former military personnel are integral to how Pace improves the way people and systems work together, using process design and a wonderfully pragmatic and human approach. The outcome of Pace’s work is performance and prosperity; agile and motivated workforces, creating high performing organisations – the same outcome the Armed Forces sets out to achieve.
