Whilst some companies are changing their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies, at Pace, we remain fully committed to DEI and are continuing to evolve and strengthen our approach, which we call Pace Embrace.
Pace Embrace ensures that diverse groups of people feel a sense of belonging throughout their time at Pace. Our employees, whom we call Pace Setters, should feel valued, respected and encouraged to their authentic selves.
This aligns closely with our values of being open, thinking differently, ownership and having fun.
Pace Setters crave autonomy, development, and purpose from their work. By encouraging DEI, we recognise each other solely for our skills and contributions so that those opportunities can flourish and everyone’s role in Pace is valued.
To create that culture of belonging, we have seven pillars of activity; Working Parents, Religion and Belief, Mental Health, LGBTQ+, Neurodiversity and Disability, Ethnicity and Heritage and Women at Pace.
Each pillar is owned by people across the business, and supported by a strategic plan of formal and information goals, aligned to our business strategy. Internal events share knowledge and understanding to create that sense of value.
For example, to mark International Women’s Day 2025, the Women in Pace community is holding its first event, celebrating women past and present with a keynote speaker from one of its clients.
