The role:
As a Project Manager, you will lead on the delivery of several transformation initiatives within a Major Global Law Firm. You will be working with the client’s Global Head of Practice Operations to deliver strategic change projects across the firm. These projects will see you working across all business functions and with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
Key responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead project management activities, organise and oversee projects to ensure they meet deadlines and budget requirements, playing an important role in helping to ensure that project milestones are met.
- Client interaction: manage key stakeholder relationships, understand their needs, gather information and provide updates on project progress and timelines. You’ll be an ambassador of Pace, taking a values-driven approach to the delivery of consulting services.
- Risk management: Manage project risks and issues appropriately, reporting to project sponsors where required.
- Business and Data Analysis: Analyse and interpret data and convert raw information into actionable insights to help drive strategic decision-making process.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations and present to senior leadership teams. Maintain and update project documentation, including project plans, timelines, budgets and RAID logs.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other team members to maintain a consistent and effective approach to client projects, enhancing the quality of the solutions proposed.
Who you are
We are looking for exceptional skills in the following areas:
- Project Management: Proven experience of project management, having owned the delivery of small to medium-sized projects within a transformation environment. Ideally you will have a minimum of two years’ experience operating as a Project Manager / Coordinator.
- Business Skills: You have a good understanding of business and IT operations, commercial awareness, and the communication skills required to operate in a client-facing capacity.
- Influence: Proven communication and negotiation skills to align team members and stakeholders with project objectives. You are skilled at adapting your communication style as required to communicate with people at all levels within an organisation.
- Autonomy: Capability to work independently with minimal supervision, taking initiative to drive project success, ensuring timely delivery of tasks.
- Dealing with Complexity: Skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple tasks or projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience in building relationships and maintaining regular communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to analyse challenges, propose solutions, and adapt plans as needed to keep projects on track.
