Role:
As a Project Manager, you will lead on the end-to-end implementation of a client lifecycle management and onboarding tool for a professional services organisation, based in Central London. You will closely support the Pace Pro gramme Manager and wider team, engaging with our client stakeholders as a trusted delivery partner. You will collaborate with consultants, clients, and stakeholders, providing essential support to keep projects on track, on time, and within scope.
What you’ll do:
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the system implementation, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and quality outcomes.
  • Lead the initial discovery phase, including stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, and project scope definition.
  • Facilitate vendor assessment, selection, and procurement processes, aligning outcomes with client needs and organizational goals.
  • Develop a comprehensive business case, including cost analysis, ROI, and strategic alignment for the client lifecycle management tool.
  • Create and maintain project plans, schedules, risk registers, and status reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate closely with client stakeholders, Pace team members, and third-party vendors to foster effective communication and alignment.
  • Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and issues while managing change control processes to maintain project integrity.
  • Provide leadership and direction throughout project execution, ensuring successful system integration and client satisfaction.
The successful Project Manager will be able to demonstrate :
  • Proven experience managing full lifecycle system implementation projects, from start to finish.
  • Strong understanding of vendor assessment, procurement processes, and business case development within a technology implementation context.
  • Excellent project management skills with proficiency in project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to engage diverse teams and vendors.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve risks and issues with a structured, proactive approach.
  • Experience in delivering projects involving client lifecycle management tools or similar systems within professional services (financial services, legal, insurance etc.) is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes and ROI.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile certifications, and experience working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
