Having built a dedicated Sales function, we are adopting a targeted approach in expanding our public sector offering and are looking for a senior-level sales expert to take ownership of this business area. 

 

Role:    

   

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Strategic Account Director at Pace. This role will be responsible for the sector growth strategy, business development of net new logos, sales presentations, account management, business planning, forecasting, and reporting. The role is based in London with flexibility for some remote work. 

 

This person will join a newly-formed Sales team at Pace and take full ownership of industry growth activities within the public sector. We are looking for a Director-level salesperson who can operate in an independent 360 sales role, with a view to building a team once the business area is established. 

       

Requirements: 

   

  • A credible background in consultative, solution and / or service-based sales using MEDDPICC, Solution Selling or Command of the Message.
  • New business development: a solid track record of finding and converting new business leads within the public sector domain
  • An ability to manage the full sales cycle and report on sales pipelines though the use of CRM tools (preferably Hubspot CRM)
  • Ability to operate as an independent sales professional, proactively finding opportunities to sell in-person at networking and industry-related events
  • Previous experience in a similar role in the consultancy industry is strongly preferred
  • An understanding of management consulting disciplines such as business transformation, project & programme management, data &AI and process optimisation & automation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation skills
