Role: 

 

Due to an increase in demand, we are expanding our team and seeking a Process Consultant to support our growing portfolio of business process optimisation projects. 

 

The Process Consultant will be responsible for analysing, designing, and optimising business processes within customer organisations. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of business operations, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage change effectively. The Process Consultant will be an expert at mapping and analysing business processes, spotting inefficiencies and finding opportunities to deliver valuable process improvements for Pace customers. 

 

Please note that availability to start at short notice is strongly preferred. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

Process Analysis and Design: 

  • Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Design and document optimised business processes that align with organisational goals.
  • Develop process models and workflows to visualise current and future state processes.

Project Management: 

  • Lead and manage process improvement projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Change Management: 

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.
  • Train and support staff on new processes and systems to ensure successful implementation.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of changes and make necessary adjustments.

Stakeholder Engagement: 

  • Work closely with key client stakeholders to understand their needs and gather requirements for process improvements.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input and drive consensus on process changes.
  • Communicate progress and outcomes to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement: 

  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure process performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in process management and incorporate relevant insights into the organisation.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organisation.

 

Qualifications 

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business process analysis, design, and optimisation.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering process improvement projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated in the capacity of a Process Consultant / Business Analyst / Management Consultant or similar role.
  • Proficiency in process modelling tools (e.g., TIBCO Nimbus, Netcall Liberty Spark, GIEOM, Elements.cloud) and project management software (e.g., Monday.com, Microsoft Projects, Excel).
  • Proficiency in process mining tools (e.g. QPR Process Analyzer, Celonis or SAP Sigvavio) would be advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams i.e. operations, finance, HR, project teams.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
